Zakaria's Last Post ATD

I also enjoyed the book very,
very, very much and I can see why you wrote so much for the posts because this
book is so good that you just want to talk more and more about it. I actually enjoyed the chapters and their
names they gave foresight and they were funny. It was way too easy to go over the
point we were supposed to stop reading but the book was so good that I wanted to
finish it on the first day that I read it, but I did not. The phrase just talks about their friendship. I think
that the whole book was just about their friendship. I also think that the
theme of the whole book was friendship because throughout the book the author kept
coming back to their friendship. The
book had a good ending for a very good book as a whole I would read this again.
This book is way better than "I Know why the caged Bird Sings". I also
love funny books like this and I would recommend this to anyone just as my
friends recommended this book to me.

I also thought that the
horse story was very scary. This also shows that the author is definitely
skilled at writing anything in general; I would love to read the other stories
that he has written if they are written like this. The way that Rowdy and
Junior are friends again reminds me of a book that I read that is call the Diary
of a Wimpy Kid and the main character and his friend were enemies but they
became friends again. I don’t think the story of Turtle Lake and the tree
symbolized their friendship I just think that it was a cool story. I thought that the book was going to end
differently but I am glad that is going to have a positive happy ending. I also
agree that the theme in this chapter is friendship because Rowdy and Junior
became friends again and because of the story that they had about the tree and
the turtle lake. This is a true friendship because even though they had a lot of
problems that still got back to being friends which is a true test of
friendship.

It is always sad when a
family member is dying; I think that this is that sad part in the story. I
agree that Ted is very funny and that he had a lot to do with making this part
a little better. I too liked how
everyone on the rez started to leave Junior, but it is sad that it took them this
long to finally leave him alone. I too
hated that way that the teacher treated Junior but I liked how everyone stud up
for him. It seems like there is a pattern where something good happens to
Junior and then something bad like the deaths of his family members and his
wining of against the other team. He should not blame himself for the deaths of
his relatives he had nothing to do with them.
It did not surprise me when Rowdy cried at Mary's funeral. He did it
because she was someone that he cared about, it does it matter how big he is on
the outside. I think that he might have liked Mary and that might be the reason
why he was friends with Junior in the first place. What do you think Zak?

I think that Rowdy and Junior
are still friends but they are mad at each other. Rowdy elbowed Junior during the basketball
game because he was made at Junior, but he did not rip up the present because
he still likes Junior as a friend. I think
that Junior got a good name at school because the people there like him better
and it also shows that his life is getting better. I agree that the character in this book
because the characters in this really bring the story to life. But if you think
about it there cannot be any story in the world without any characters, but the
ones in this book are especially good. I
also like how he does not let it all go to his head. This shows how humble of a
character he is. I think that if this was Maya she would let it all go to her
head or be very pessimistic about it. I also enjoy how this book just keeps
going forward and how it does not have any bad things that happen in it. I also
assume that latter in the book there will be big problems because there are
always problems in books. What do you think? Will there be a big problem?

Zakaria's 4th Post ATD

I kind of do not understand why Junior is friends with Rowdy he does
not seem like a person that would hang out with a little wimp and has a lot of
problems. I never thought that a powwow was the way that they portray it in the
books. I thought that it was a place of dancing and fun but I did not know that
a lot of people got drunk and I did not know that there were crazy people at
went there. It seems more like a party than a spiritual gathering, which I thought
is what is should be. I noticed that there are a lot of people that are drunks
in this book. It reminds me of Huckleberry Finn where Finn’s dad was a drunk
like the parents of Rowdy. What do you think of the Powwows in this book Zak?
The education at the res is very bad. Mr. P is a good example for that because
he comes in late and sometimes he comes in his pajamas. I think it would be
funny to have a teacher come in pajamas but it would not be good for learning.
Now I can see why they Junior started a new school.

Zakaria's 3rd Post ATD

I agree the Book is getting much better, I enjoy that he is
getting new friends in a new school even though he has some problems. I disagree that the book is a little random. The chapter "Tears of a Clown" was there
to tell the reader how he is feeling and who he likes, I think that this girl
might play a role in the book later. I also think that it is not random because
it is about his life and we all know that the life of a teenager is a bit
random. I don’t know what you are saying
I can’t see a plot at all. it seems even today that the Native American people
aren't fully understood,” I get what you are saying because most people don’t
know people who are Native American they do not understand them and their culture,
so they might think that they are weird because they are different. I agree that his upbeat attitude is much
better than that of Maya’s in the book that we read before; her attitude completely
ruined the book. But junior’s attitude adds to the book and makes it better. What do you think will happen to Junior and his
new friends at this new school? Right now it looks like anything can happen.

Zakaria's 2nd Post ATD

I like the way the author introduced the main character at
the beginning of this book. He made it very funny but we were able to understand
just how junior was. If “I know why the caged bird sings,” began this way it would
have made the story seem much more interesting and made it easier to read. One thing
that I do not understand is why he made the main character have so many problems.
Maybe it was done to show the reader that if this guy can make it then anyone
can make it. If that is so I assume that the book will have a good ending for
junior. I thought that it was sad that Oscar got sick but his parents were not
willing to take him to the vet. I thought that it was very funny that he put Kentucky
Fried Chicken on a high pedestal in his mind. To most of us we really do not
think about things like that but Junior has showed us not to take most things
for granted. Junior is very good at drawing and I hope that
he can fulfill his dream of becoming an artist but, I do not like that he only
wants to do that because most people of his race have jobs like those. What do you
think? Do you think that this is actually the job that he really wants? I don’t.
