Zak G's Final Post for Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian
So as I enjoyed the book a little too much and went a little over when it came to the posts, I will do my final on the whole book. Firstly I would like to say that without chapter numbers or even just a table of context it was a little hard to keep track of where I was in the book. I don't want to go making excuses for why I read too far, but having not even a table of context made it a little hard to stay in line. I would like to point out also the awesome ending sentence of the book "We didn't keep score" because that just proves that Rowdy and Junior became friends again and maybe even better ones than before. To keep score would entail that the were trying to see which is better but because they didn't it means that it does not matter to them because they are true friends and just enjoy each others company. I bring up the awesome ending because I would like to point out that this book is just full of joy even with the last small part of it revolving around deaths, even during those times the characters in the story but mainly Junior were able to bring a smile to my face. I very much so enjoyed this book and compared to "I Know why the caged Bird Sings" this book is leagues ahead. I enjoy reading books that can bring a smile to my face or even a laugh here or there, and I would strongly recommend this book to anyone, how about you Zakaria?
